I am still pondering the start of a new year. What should I be doing with each new day I’m given? How will I know where to channel my energies, how to accurately reflect GOD’s heart, how to fulfill the plans He has for me?
It seems over-simplified, but I just need to ask Him!
If it is His plan I want to accomplish, His heart I long to delight, His Name I desire to honor, I just need to ask Him how to do so.
And wait. With quiet, reverent, yet eager, attentive anticipation . . . for His answer.
And watch. To see His hand at work in wondrous ways . . . in me and around me.
Maybe someone else is reaching for Him today, too, and maybe some of these verses from today’s breakfast “psalm” will touch and encourage our hearts:
