Yesterday’s foggy day reminded me of a favorite photo from winter in south Florida. When I went hunting for it, I realized it was taken the day I posted the final breakfast psalm for 2021, which turned out to be the last one for over a year!
It has been a *full* year in between, in every sense of the word! It is a story for another post, but we have now fully relocated to coastal New England and are enjoying the beautiful change of seasons, not the least of which is the quiet dormancy of winter. I am so grateful for the LORD’s hand and heart that carried us through every packed moment in the transition.
I am also thankful for the start of a new year that is considerably less intense, a new writing desk where my Bible and journal sit open and ready for me to still and read and ponder and be renewed by Him! Although much in our little corner of the world has changed over the past year, our Savior remains the same, and His beckon to spend time with Him remains faithful . . . and ever dear!
It is a JOY to share the first breakfast psalm of 2023, trusting these few verses might echo someone else’s prayer today:

Hi Robin! It is so good to hear from you too! I know a lot of Floridian cannot relate, but crisp air is like new life to my veins… I feel very spoiled as well to live within walking distance to a busy harbor or boats. GOD is good – He has created each of us to love unique things. 😊
