within His reach

‘Tis the season for graduations! A few of our loved ones are reaching exciting milestones in middle school, high school, and graduate school. It is an amazing moment for each of them to look back with gratitude and a sense of accomplishment … and to look forward with hope and expectation for the new chapter that will unfold.

But … it can also feel somewhat anxious (and maybe at times a little terrifying?) to face the unknown, the unfamiliar. Especially when the path forward seems frighteningly unclear, fraught with complications or simply too many options. Our college graduates pray and wait for that one decision-maker to extend the much-anticipated offer letter that will secure steady income!

We pray with them… and wait to see how the LORD will answer. Because we know He will! Nothing is beyond His knowledge, His understanding, or His reach. Nothing surprises Him or alters His perfect plans. His purposes are trustworthy.

We can confidently watch with eager anticipation, because in His time and way, we know He will provide.

No matter how each journey unfolds, we can be sure He will be with each of His beloved children every step of the way. What a tremendous comfort this is!

I pray that today’s breakfast “psalm” will speak peace and confidence to anyone facing a brand new chapter: 🌿
