His personal care

For weeks we have been prayerfully navigating a tricky housing market in New Bedford, trusting the LORD to lead us to a more permanent home there. Just when we thought the perfect property had been provided, the sale fell through. The dealings felt underhanded and unethical, out of our control.

It was the third failed attempt to secure a new home for us. With this upsetting news, it is hard not to feel discouraged, disheartened, vulnerable. In our humanness, the task to find a place to live feels impossible right now.

In these moments, it is vital to remind our hearts of GOD’s truth that is unchanging. His best is not dictated by the housing market or the actions of others. We may not trust the current trends, but we do trust Him! Our confidence is not shaken. We will wait on Him to work on our behalf, to provide the home He knows will be best.

How sweet to be reassured of the LORD’s goodness and personal care in today’s breakfast “psalm”: 🌿
