O my soul,
who comes to meet you
in this quiet place,
drawing nearer,
voice so tender,
gentle smile upon His face?
.
“Remember Me?” He softly says,
“the One who loves you best;
I gave my all to call you Mine,
to grant your soul its rest.”
.
“Of all the hours that fill your days
this one means the most,
when I can captivate your thoughts,
My joy to be your Host.”
.
“Remember Me?” He says again,
the One whose word is true,
My body broken, blood poured out,
this is My love for you.”
. . .
O my soul, remember
He’s your Savior!
The One who set you free.
Sin’s curse no longer holds you,
you have life eternally!
.
O my soul, remember
He’s your Shepherd!
The One who cares for you.
Beside Him there’s no other
Who loves you through and through!
.
O my soul, remember
He is LORD!
Holy, Mighty, True.
There is no other like Him,
Who offers grace to you.
. . .
Rise my soul, in wonder,
the Name of JESUS treasure,
the beauties of His heart recount,
marvel without measure!
.
Rise, my soul, in worship,
sing out in grateful praise!
The Father’s heart will gladden
when on His Son you gaze!
