This week in Bible study, we talked about the unexpected challenges we all encounter as we journey through this life.  We are so grateful for the encouragement we gather from stories of men like Jacob and Joseph that emboldens us to embrace the detours, trusting the LORD intends them for good. 

But what is it that steadies us until those good outcomes can be seen and appreciated?  The infallible promises of our GOD!

May these verses from Daily Light strengthen our hearts with the staying power of GOD’s unchanging truth…

Trust in Him at all times.

Pour out your heart before Him.

David strengthened himself in the LORD his GOD.

Has He said, and will He not do it?

Has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

The word of our GOD stands forever.

He who promised is faithful.

The eyes of all look expectantly to You.

The LORD is good to all,

and His mercies are over all His works.

This is the LORD… we have waited for Him.

We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.
