renewed day by day

Today’s breakfast “psalm” highlights verses that were very timely for me this week, while tackling unexpected hurdles during studio recording days for the “Held and Beloved” audiobook! I came face to face with my shortcomings, which is never easy (or fun!). BUT, when our backs are against the wall, we look up, cry out for His help, and He answers! These struggles are the hallowed ground where testimony of GOD’s power and love can be displayed! Take heart, friends!

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things. • We rejoice in hope of the glory of GOD. •

Believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible. • GOD is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, have an abundance for every good work. • In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He bore them and carried them. •

My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. • I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. • We do not lose heart. Though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. •

He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength… those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength. • The eternal GOD is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. •

2 Corinthians 6:10 • Romans 5:2 • I Peter 1:8 • 2 Corinthians 9:8 • Isaiah 63:9 • 2 Corinthians 12:9 • Philippians 4:13 • 2 Corinthians 4:16 • Isaiah 40:29, 31 • Deuteronomy 33:27
