When it all comes too close to home, despite truth that steadies us, our hearts still race, our minds still scramble to understand … and the most tragic of all attacks lurks … to doubt the LORD’s love for us.

We are tempted to think He is busy orchestrating something eternally important and one day we will understand what we can’t reason right now … what if, instead, this is the time He wants to come closer than ever to tenderly care for us? in ways that are unmistakeably His doing? what if He wants us to recognize His whispers to our hearts, to give us a new reality in which to walk from this day forward?

Today, on my run, I felt like He met me right there in the middle of that fresh wrestle … to allow Chris Tomlin’s song to remind me: nobody loves me like Him!!!!
