Happy Tuesday to our “Held and Beloved” online study friends!

As we continue to “gather” this week and allow time for others to join us, I’d like to introduce a fun extra that I will be sharing each week!

From my earliest memories, most of my days have been accented and mightily blessed by good music! Beautiful melodies and poignant lyrics have deeply touched me, spoken the cry of my heart, strengthened my soul, and lifted my eyes to JESUS on many, many occasions!

Working on “Held and Beloved” was no different! As I pondered these stories, sitting at my dining room table turned writing desk, or pounding out miles on my latest run, certain songs would specifically resonate with the heart of each chapter. Over the months of writing and editing, this collection of songs became a favorite “playlist” of mine! I thought it might be interesting and fun to share them alongside each chapter as we journey through this study!

For this week’s look at the INTRODUCTION, My Story by Big Daddy Weave seems to capture the overarching theme of telling our stories!
