day 6 – our Creator and Savior also has the power to heal us! … Just this week, I learned there is an interesting connection between this verse in Malachi and the account of a suffering woman in Matthew 9/Mark 5 who reached for the hem of JESUS’ garment.

The word for “wings” in the original Hebrew is kanaph. This same word is used in the Torah to describe the four corners or edges of a garment where fringes were attached (Numbers 15:38).

The suffering woman sought healing from JESUS by reaching for the fringes on the kanaph or edges/wings of His garment!

What a comfort to know we are welcomed to draw near, reaching for and trusting in JESUS’ power to heal us. Praise GOD His words and His touch bring wholeness to our bodies and our souls.
