In a world where there are many things that are hard to understand, what compels me to acknowledge and trust in the reality of GOD?
This question has been posed each day at staff training for Camp Horizon. Of all the things we have considered (I see a more complete blog post brewing – – stay tuned!), two thoughts rise to the top:
the wonder of creation … and … the wonder of Calvary!
Who is the LORD that I might acknowledge Him and place my confident hope and trust in Him?
He is the only One who could design, speak into existence, and hold within His care the magnificent, vast, intricate, delicate, and powerful universe that we only scratch the surface of witnessing every day!
He is the One who knows me intimately, desires relationship with me, gave everything to redeem me, and who will never abandon me. His mercy and love touch and mold my heart, drawing it ever closer to His.
The few verses in today’s breakfast “psalm” reminded me of our discussions this week. May they encourage our hearts to land in quiet gratefulness this morning: 🌿
