This morning, one little phrase in the Psalms caught my attention:

“praise to GOD … is pleasant and … beautiful.” (Psalm 147:7)

Who wouldn’t enjoy a “pleasant” way to start each day? Or the opportunity to create beauty, simply with a song of praise to the One who is ever worthy!

Even on days when a song is far from our hearts, oh, how it honors Him to lift our thoughts and our voices in praise to the LORD.

It is especially on those days, when it doesn’t come so easily, that our song of praise is truly beautiful to Him.

May today’s breakfast psalm encourage us to join the chorus! 🌿
