hope.
bright and fresh,
new life emerging,
bursting into bloom.
The first sight of spring flowers always feels this way for me! But I can also say that my soul has felt this same thrill over the past 2 weeks, reading report after report of something truly remarkable happening at Asbury University.
“an outpouring of the love of GOD”
“a palpable sense of the presence of GOD that caused me to weep”
“the love of JESUS like a tender touch”
“the LORD’s Name lifted high in humble, unending praise”
“hearts drawn to repentance and recommitment”
“time stood still, there was no where else I needed to be, no where else I wanted to be”
“I needed to hear from GOD, and as I stilled my heart in that place, that is exactly what happened”
”GOD is on the move – in hearts and in lives”
“the Lion of Judah’s roar is simple, unscripted, with no fanfare or flashy lights, but it is real, undeniable, and powerful!”
I can only rejoice as we watch events like this unfold, as we sense a new fire ignited in each of our hearts, a hunger to draw closer to the LORD and experience life-changing encounters with Him!
Today’s breakfast “psalm” shared a few simple verses about this bright HOPE that we hold: 🌿
