feeding on the good stuff

With so many voices swirling, some of which are loud and desperate, but lacking in the credibility that earns our trust, I find myself starving (aching!) for the voice of Truth. I need unshakable, reliable insight and guidance that instills confidence and leads to peace.

As essential as breathing and three square meals each day, my soul needs to be fed by the truth of GOD’s Word. Those loud and bossy voices need to be wrangled and set straight. What’s muddled and deceived and stubborn needs to be washed and cleansed and brought back into agreement with His Spirit. The process may be arduous, but the end result of His work in my heart will be the joy of sweet delight!

This week’s breakfast “psalm” echoes this reality. 🌿 I pray you will be encouraged to feed on the good stuff today!

There was a sweet follow up to today’s breakfast “psalm” in Choice Gleanings the other day . . . encouragement not only to feed on the good stuff, but to linger on “beautiful thinking.”

Friends, let’s look to the LORD to show us what is good and right and dwell on those things today. May your meditation of His heart and His truth be sweet!
