resurrection power

Today’s breakfast “psalm” … and a little story:⁣

Two days after Resurrection Sunday I noticed this sweet surprise in our front flower bed.  From a Christmas white amaryllis bulb we had potted several years ago, hoping it might bloom again.  I’ll be honest.  I had given up hope!  But here it is this week, bursting with blooms!!!  In brilliant white!

At this time of the year, we celebrate new life.  It is even more astounding when it emerges from something we considered a dead, forgotten, lost cause!  Our Savior was born at Christmastime with a sure promise always in view – of the Resurrection that conquers death!  This week, this beautiful flower feels like a wink from the Father… a glimpse of His glory!!! ⁣
