It’s a chilly 39* here this morning. I love being cozy in my thick Greenwood Hills sweatshirt, sipping my steaming hot tea, and savoring this clear view over the water with the tiniest sliver of a crescent moon while I share today’s breakfast “psalm”:

“Our boasting is this . . . we conduct ourselves in the world in simplicity

and Godly sincerity, not with our own wisdom but by the grace of GOD.

We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power

may be of GOD and not of us.

I will bless the LORD who guides me, even at night my heart instructs me.

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for He is right beside me.

You show me the way of life, granting me the joy of Your Presence

and the pleasures of living with You forever.

Search me, O GOD, and know my heart, try me and know anxieties . . .

and lead me in the way everlasting!”

These words are so timely for me, after lying awake in the middle of the night with details about the launch event swirling in my brain . . . I felt His Spirit nudge me to stop chasing my own tail, to give Him control!, to leave alllll those thoughts in His hands and rest in peace and confidence that His best plan for that night will come to pass!
