Few of us truly know what it means to “live given” as Ann Voskamp would say, in wholehearted dedication to the LORD.
Our Savior is our ultimate example of One whose entire earthly life was devoted to completing the Father’s plan, carrying out His Father’s business.
CHRIST fulfilled the Old Testament picture of the burnt offering, wholly consumed, making atonement for sin, reconciling us to GOD.
His earthly days also paved a path for us to follow a New Testament challenge – to offer ourselves as living sacrifices to GOD.
Each redeemed child holds immeasurable value to GOD. Each life freely offered to Him becomes another channel through which He can make Himself known … and glorified!
Let us not miss the chance to give all of ourselves to be used for His best purposes – every moment of every day until our final breath! May we hold nothing back.
