Until yesterday, I did not know his name.  Now the name and face of Charlie Kirk is everywhere I look.  More importantly, the Name of his Savior, in whom he placed confident and unwavering faith, is everywhere too.  

Charlie’s words of truth, spoken in boldness and grace reflect those of JESUS.  Charlie’s earthly life was cruelly cut short, but his words remain, the impact of one life for Christ will never be stolen away.

There was another day when evil thought it had won, thought it silenced what it could not understand or receive, when the Son of GOD hung on a tree, suffered and died, and was buried in the grave.  But GOD.  His plan is always greater and more victorious than evil’s ever will be.

I have seen a few quotes already that evil only brings death, but the redeeming blood and resurrection power of our Savior brings LIFE through death!

Our hearts break for Charlie’s dear family and those who worked closely with him.  Their loss is unimaginable.  We still trust unwaveringly, as Charlie did, that our GOD is faithful.  He will be with each of them.  He will comfort.  He will be their strength.  And He will show us all how He will use this unspeakable tragedy to touch hearts and draw them to Himself.

Because of Charlie, many more people will hear and proclaim the Name of JESUS.  As someone else appropriately said, Charlie is more alive now than he has ever been, in the presence of his LORD and Savior, hearing “well done.”

May we be emboldened by his example to fearlessly love GOD, love people, speak truth, and set our sights beyond this earthly life.
