It is staggering to think that Almighty GOD welcomes me into personal, intimate, growing, deepening, moment-by-moment relationship with Him!

And yet. . .

He is the One who imagined me, formed me, breathed life into me. It is not hard then to grasp that He wants to interact with me, spend time with me, fully enjoy the person He made me to be.

He longs for me to know Him, to understand His heart and purposes, and to respond with my own longing to treasure what He treasures.

This was the Lord Jesus’ prayer for us: Him in us, us with Him, all one, in full unity with the Father, knowing and making known the true heart of GOD.

Today’s breakfast “psalm” compels us to invest in our relationship with the LORD and reminds us that He has promised to give us a heart to know Him! 🌿
