𝘋𝘢𝘺 𝟸𝟶 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝟺-𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 “𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘚𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴”𝘰𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘰𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴.𝘤𝘰𝘮 …. 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘩𝘺𝘮𝘯𝘴.

In his book, “One Minute After You Die,” Dr. Erwin Lutzer poses a jolting question:

“While relatives and friends plan your funeral, deciding on a casket, a burial plot, and who the pallbearers shall be, you will be more alive than you have ever been! But where will you be? What will you see? Will you see God sitting on His throne, surrounded by angels and redeemed humanity, or will you realize that you are shrouded in darkness, in a region of unending regret and deprivation?”

One minute after you leave this earthly life, will you bask in the glory of heaven or will you wake to the sinking realization that eternity is real, the truth in God’s Word about hell is also real, and you will never again have the opportunity to make a different choice?

May today be the day that you choose Jesus Christ as your Savior, the one and only way to the Father, that you choose eternal life in the presence of God instead of darkness and separation from God (and all that is right and good and light and love) – forever.

Forever is a long, long, unending experience. None of us is guaranteed our next breath. This matter is urgent. Where will you spend eternity? Accept the salvation Jesus offers you and rest in knowing He has made peace with God on your behalf and is preparing a home in heaven for you – with Him – forever!
