This morning, I discovered a precious follow-up to yesterday’s thoughts from TobyMac and Amy Carmichael … today, from Albert Osborn in Choice Gleanings calendar:

“𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘑𝘌𝘚𝘜𝘚 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦,⁣

𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺,⁣

𝘖 𝘮𝘺 𝘚𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘦,⁣

Amy’s desire was to always stay in a place where His beauty could be seen.  To linger there.  To treasure the beauties of the LORD.  Psalm 27:4 in NLT words it this way: “delighting in the LORD’s perfections, meditating in His temple.”

How wondrous to imagine that the longer we stay in that place, captivated by Him, the more we will reflect the true heart of GOD, as JESUS, His Son does!  His beauties can be seen 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘦 !

Is there any greater endeavor in this new year?
